Androgynous Fashion

Androgynous fashion is self-discovery. Androgynous fashion defines identity. Androgynous fashion is expressive. Fashion, in the past, has always been restrictive. Womenswear and Menswear; two options, two restrictions and two imprisonments.

The reality of fashion being segreagted into two genders is depriving. Not only is it depriving to how limitless creativity and expression within fashion can be, it is depriving you. Fashion encourages the evolvemnt and development within you. Fashion contributes towards confidence. Fashion is expressive, not restrictive.

Fashion witholds the power to express who you are, fashion witholds the power of limitless creativity, fashion witholds the power to identify yourself as anything - there is nothing more beautiful that that. Over time fashion has been a form of creativity release, however we feel inside is portrayed on our clothes. 

What we wear speaks volumes. You can portray yourself as anything in what we wear, fashion is more than material, it defines who you want to be. Clothes will never wear you, you will always wear the clothes and define yourself in them. Because after all, nothing can dictate you other than you; fashion will always provide the confidence for you to be you. 

It is a tragedy to believe fashion isn't an art, because not only is it an art, it is a form of expression. Fashion is an escapism for your feelings. Sometimes verbal communication about your feelings isn't enough, you need an external release to expose how you are feeling and who you are. Along with the subject of fashion being an art, the best aspect about it, there is no creative limit, you can portray anything you want to be in fashion. 

Fashion should never be an imprisonment. For fashion to be a restriction is like taking paintbrushes off of an artist - fashion is an art.
