Identifying yourself is hard. The pressure society puts on us to fit into a narrow, rigid image is insanely cruel. Especially within schools, we are stripped of our identities, we all have to wear the same clothing, we all have to do the same and we all don't have a say in it. Society expects us to not have a say in anything; to them, we are all born to achieve the same expectations.
However, the criteria society expect us to achieve isn't realistsic. No one is the same. Everyone is born to be different, everyone is born to achieve different things - if we were all the same, there would be no art. There would be no creative differences. People inspire people. Whilst society's expectations inspre nothing but dullness and genericism.
Society can't seem to comprehend that being unique is beautiful. That going against the system is a state of a beautiful rebellion. That living for you is the most extraordinary thing you could ever do. However, the worst thing you could ever do is to not have your own mind, to follow what everyone else is doing - there will never be a significant beauty in having no opinions.
Opinions are what matter to make a change, opinions define you. What you believe, you will aspire to be. You have the control to change. You have the control to be who you want to be - never let society take that away from you. Once you take control of who you are and what you want, you just achieved everything everyone is too scared to do.
